Terms Conditions
   
  By placing an order either over the phone, e mail or web site, customer has verbal or written agreement, and is bound to M&C Cleaning Service’s Terms and Conditions.
   
Our Guarantee
  If you are not completely happy with our service, then please tell us within 24 hours in order that we may remedy the situation. We guarantee the quality of our Cleaning.
   
Our Team
  2.1 All our staff are fully trained to clean using environmentally friendly cleaning  products, although we reserve the right to use other products should a suitable product not be available.

2.2 Our cleaning staff usually work singularly or in teams of two.

2.3 M&C Cleaning Service will carry out thorough reference checks on all cleaners

2.4 All our staff are fully vetted and insured. 

2.5 Staff will not smoke in your home or office.

2.6 Our training and working practices are designed to ensure that we comply with all applicable health and safety regulations. 2.7 We endeavour to provide the same cleaning team where appropriate or requested. However this may not always be possible due to holidays, absences, varying cleaning frequencies & other commitments. 
   
Our Cleaning Services
  Regular and one off Cleaning Services
  3.1 Our Regular Cleaning Service involves thorough cleaning, however not all items will be completed every visit.  We will create a checklist individually tailored to your home and needs and rotational items such as windows, fridge interiors, etc will be scheduled in appropriately.  We don't mind putting things away for you, however this does take time out of your booked hours. We are happy to work with you in prioritising the areas we clean, so that you get the maximum benefit from our time and services.

3.1.1The Regular Clients may choose to issue the Cleaner with keys that allow access to the premises to be cleaned.

3.1.2 Upon issue of the Keys, the Regular Clients and the Cleaner must sign a Key Collection and Security Form.

3.1.3 If Keys have been provided to the Cleaner, then following termination of the services of a Cleaner, the Cleaner must return the Keys to the Client.

3.2 Our One off  Cleaning Service involves the thorough top to bottom dusting, wiping, vacuuming and mopping of all rooms. Bathrooms and Kitchens will be thoroughly cleansed and if requested all interior windows will be cleaned also.  Where possible, movable furniture will be moved to facilitate cleaning. Please try and have the house as clutter free as possible so we can do the best job for you. 

3.3 We provide all the cleaning equipment and supplies unless other arrangements have been made with M&C Cleaning Service.

3.4 We will arrive on an agreed date and usually at a specified time. We generally work between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm

3.5 Bookings are made and charged by the hour and our team will complete the number of hours booked at each visit.

3.6 Our minimum service period is 2 hours per week for regular cleaning and 3 hours for one off cleaning. Bookings can be made for the minimum period plus increments of ½ hours thereafter. 

3.7 M&C Cleaning Service will not be responsible for triggering any alarm systems. Customer should give any special instructions for deactivation/activation of any household alarm systems.

3.8 The customer understands that the price quoted over the phone or email does not include anything apart from cleaning and ironing labour.
   
  Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery Cleaning
  3.9  All carpet/upholstery cleaning orders are subject to £25.00 minimum call out charge.
   
Payments
  4.1 All prices are subject to change. We will give existing customers not less than 14 days notice of any change in price.

4.2 Our regular domestic cleaning prices are lower than our one-off prices on the understanding that you book a minimum of four consecutive cleans.

4.3 In the event that you cancel the service before four cleans have taken place we will be entitled to charge any cleans which have taken place to date at our minimum one-off cleaning rate of £45.00 each and the sum thereby assessed, less any payments previously made, will be due & payable immediately.

4.4 Payment is due on completion of the service, unless alternative arrangements have been made with M&C Cleaning Service.

4.5  Payment is requested on completion on the day of the cleaning session.

4.6  Payment can be made in cash, by cheque, please make the cheque payable to ‘M&C Cleaning Service’ or by standing order. If paying by cheque, the customer will be responsible for all bank and legal charges resulting from a dishonored cheque.

4.7 Please note all accounts beyond our credit terms may be passed to a debt collection agency. All accounts without exception will be subject to a surcharge of 15% to cover our costs of recovery. These accounts will also be subject to any legal costs incurred in obtaining settlement.
   
Security
   
  5.1 All our staff are vetted and supervised. 

5.2 We use security coding for your keys.

5.3 We are insured to protect your home and our staff. 
   
Complaints and Claims
  6.1 The customer accepts and understands that poor service, breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from the service date. Failure to do so will entitle customer to no refunds or recovery cleanings.

6.2 M&C Cleaning Service’ may take up to 7 working days to respond to a complaint.
6.3 M&C Cleaning Service’will not accept a complaint, filed more than 24-hour after the cleaning session.

6.4  Complaints are accepted verbally over the phone and in writing (letter, e mail). Complaints must be reported on completion or in the following 24-hour.

6.5 All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are:cash, jewelery, items of sentimental value (the customer will be credited with the items present cash value), art and antiques.

6.6 M&C Cleaning Service’agrees to keep all customers’ information confidential.

6.7  In case of damage M&C Cleaning Service’will repair the item at its cost. If the item cannot be repaired M&C Cleaning Service’will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the item's present actual cash value toward a like replacement from a M&C Cleaning Service’'s source upon payment of cleaning services rendered.
   
Insurance
  8.1 M&C Cleaning Service has a Public and Employer's liability insurance. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by an operator working on behalf of M&C Cleaning Service reported within 24 hours of service date.

8.2 There is £350 excess on any claim, of which £150 are paid by customer and £200 by M&C Cleaning Service.

8.3 M&C Cleaning Service reserves the right to refuse to share any of the confidential company’s documents.
   
Customer Care
  We want to keep in regular contact with you in order to ensure that you get the best possible service from M&C Cleaning Service.

Special Circumstances
  10.1 Special requests for additional services should be made at least 24 hours in advance. 

10.2 If your scheduled cleaning day falls on a public holiday, then this clean will not take place.  We can reschedule to another day or default to the next scheduled visit, whichever is your preference.

10.3 We will treat your home with the greatest of care. Please inform us of any items that are irreplaceable, so that we can make special arrangements for care.

Cancellation
  11.1 Please contact us, giving us at least 3 full working days notice if you do not want a particular visit

11.2 Cancellations for one off or carpet cleaning service require 3 full working days notice in order to re-schedule our team and avoid having to charge you.

11.3 Our cancellation charges are dependent upon the notice given and are as follows:
Outside 2 full working days; nil, 2 working days 25%, 1 working day 33%, Same day 50%, upon arrival 75%

11.4 After we have provided four consecutive cleans, we will require a notice period for the cancellation of the service. We require a notice period of 2 weeks for the cancellation of our regular cleaning services. 
   
Your Obligations
  12.1 To provide a safe working environment for our staff, e.g. safe electrical appliances, securely fixed wardrobes, cupboards, shelves, blinds, etc.

12.2 To pay promptly for all cleaning services provided.

12.3 During the period of this agreement and for a period of 12 months after the termination of this agreement, the client will not employ any staff that have been employed by M&C Cleaning Service. M&C Cleaning Service reserves the right to claim any damages, loss of earnings, recruitment costs, training costs and any court costs where appropriate, subject to a minimum of £250.

12.4 To provide access, including keys, etc where possible. If we cannot gain access for a scheduled visit we are obliged to charge you.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom. M& C Cleaning Service reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Should any of the above clauses change all existing customers will be notified. Please check this website for updates.
